My runraysias are getting a coat of paint today.
The guards are going on tomorrow.
A tune up and hopefully boxing up the sub and sound system.
The real Xmas present is Feb when rego is sprung for.

id like a new window winding/raising mechanism thingy for xmas... it is so annoying not being able to drive with the window down

a total revamp of all running gear. anything needs repair will get it, wanything needs replacement will get it.

I bought my beetle 6L of basecoat, 5L of clearcoat and all the miscellaneous bits and pieces associated with it. Damn expensive present! Hopefully after giving it to the beetle for Christmas, I may even spoil it further and finally give it some colour! We'll see if it behaves between now and christmas.

Well the beetle is getting a nice new wooden steering wheel and hopefully a wood veneer dashboard to match its old LHD one it used to have and the buggy will be getting some paint.

A new spotlight, New indicator lenses, canadian dealer badge, all the little rubber seals for the whole car, a new canvas Sunroof cover in Blue (damn last one didnt fit!) seat belts, new dash knobs and interior handles.....I think thats all for xmas......LOL

my type 3 is getting all his carpets ripped out, the rust around the battery cut out and all the other bits and pieces of rust scraped back and converted....oh joy i can hardly wait....the smell of acid ...... then he is getting his new seats put in yayayayay and the crusty sheepskin covers drycleaned (gulp, i havent done it in the 3 years ive had him, so theres a lot of sweat in those seat covers...)
then i am going to polish him, for the first time in a long time.
then his new girlfriend, the poo colored fastback should arrive yayayaya.
oh yeah, and one of those canvas carports from makro warehouse, i can hardly wait.......

Mine is getting driven for Christmas and as I am keeping it, I am now using it every day.
Might see about a disc brake conversion, bit of extra braking never hurt anyone.
