2ltr carb...but comes with a spare engine and gearbox...I bags the g'box though.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone of the forum used to own it..it's got empi stickers and a few other VW stickers on it.

Mandie...the tourists are in town....or the young ones...we've been busy and I've been at our travel centre in St Kilda
BUT the young ones are all making their way to Sydney for New Year....things have booked out up there....I've been getting them all around Oz......booking flight into Sydney from any direction cheap is impossible now....
They have no idea how big Australia is...they all do the Great Ocean Rd to Adelaide up to Alice...The Rock...then want to get to Cairns...then Sydney for NYE...it's a well worn track
We are getting a lot of older people, as well as young ones, walking in and looking for St Kilda accomm...or touristy info...so they are in town again...lets hope for nice sunshine on Sunday and you should have a good day at the market :thumb

Nup...not going away at Chrissy...Sue and I were planning trip to Indonesia for 20th wedding anniversary but have been warned off. Either have to wait or find somewhere else.
Boat is on the grass in backyard ot the moment ...fixing up trailer...will have it finished tomorrow though.
River is a bit murky from recent rain.

Unfortunatly this is my busy time of year so i have to work all the way through the summer.Even have a market on Boxing Day & New Years day so won't be partying to hard on NYE.We usually head off camping between Xmas & NY but with our trip up north afew months back & trying to get the splitty on the road i can't miss any markets as i need the $$$$$$$$.My brothers just finished building an awesomr house down at the beach an hour from Melb so i'll probably head down there for afew odd days herre & there,have a relax & do some fishing.

kafer when is your anniversary? Jakarta is the hot spot.....lets hope they don't hit Bali again..just stay outta the bar areas/heavy touristy places if you go...there are other nice areas

Was owned by a vw freak panel beater hence the under coat here and there will just touch up with original colour for now.
Needs some work in the engine dept after the drive home...hopefully just a good tune up will fix it...fingers crossed.

I live in QLD i can go to a nice beach any day...I want to experience a different culture...thats why I wanted to go to Phuket...were going to go sea kayaking caving etc etc.
