What's a 1600 sp worth?

What is a 1600 single port motor from a 71 bus worth? It was reconditioned a few years back and runs well.

depends on the completeness and condition of muffler but $600 ish also depends if theres anyone chasing one at the time

I paid a Wrecker $600 for a Complete 1600 D.P from a Bay Bus, about 4 years ago and it's still going Strong.

I would say around $500 - $600 would be a fair price to pay for a 1600 S.P.

But also consider how expensive they are to get rebuilt, a Ball Park of around $1,500. (with Labour)

Thanks guys. I am really asking because I have an old rusty camper with a good motor and am wondering whether it is better to keep the motor myself as a spare and give the bus away or try to sell the bus for the value of the engine and box.
