Hotmail Virus

Has anyone got a virus on their computer which stops you from viewing hotmail. I just recently got it, at first i thought hotmail was down, but its my computer. my brother says i can only fix it by reformatting the hard drive, and i don't wanna have to do that again, cuz i just did it recently. Is anyone familiar with this or know how to fix it without having to wipe the drive and start again.?

ive got it but i can access it through mozilla firefox. it only seems to trouble internet explorer

theres a free site called TREND MICRO or HOUSE CALL it will only tell you if you have a virus in puter,, but will not prevent a virus from going in,, you can check to see what virus is in hot mail,

I decided to just download firefox and i'm using that now. Its better than explorer i reckon. Thanks everyone.
