Anyone know or know how to contact the guy who made Hebmuller replicas in country Victoria in the mid 90's?
someone may have more up to date info but he was no longer doing them as of a few years ago.
h.
There is a vw guy up here in Riverstone who had a few for sale. I can give ya his number if you like.
They are pretty dodgy looking fibreglass conversions but are a bit different to the normal beetle.

Thanks guys. The guy I'm talking about did all steel panels and his work was real good. I think he was near Bendigo. There was a Heb replica in Volksworld not so long ago and I reckon it would have been one of his.
I've got some books of his and some pics of his cars in various states of build in his factory that I want to return to him.
Why not just hit the trading post and buy a real 'Muller ?
Shouldn't be too hard to find:P

Brad, he went out of business in the end. The odd job here and there.
All metal mock Hebs, and quite right when you say near Bendigo, he was. He then sold all his cars, lots to Ian Nankervis, and moved to Gold Coast apparently.
Haven't heard much from him since.
THE LOWEST WITH THE MOSTEST BLING BLING WINS!!
He would be doin pretty well now days I reckon. He also did "karmann" Converts. They were awesome. You would take your hardtop to him, and then you would recieve a "factory" cabriolet.
N!
wow looks like he did awesome work

One man's junk...
He still lives here near Bendigo, but he doesn't want anything to do with VWs any more.
Thanks all.
Yeah Steve, that's him.
If anyone has any contact with him please just let him know I've got some things to return to him.
Your dad told me he moved I thought.. Okay.. well there ya go..

i heard the gear he used went to englend...................
but who knows.....
there is often one for sale in the UK scene.
Thought this was interesting. RHD cars? Is Uruguay a RHD market? Thought this may have been where his gear ended up?

G'day,
Spoke to Chris today and he was pleased to hear that you were looking for him as he was wondering what was happening with the stuff. You have U2U.
Cheers, Ian.
Note: The last 2 Heb bodies plus a Heb Coupe replica body were sold to a guy in Ballarat in 2003 and I believe some have been sold again. I ended up with all the rest of the left over VW bits.
Ian, Any info on the Cabriolet stuff he used to do? Any Plans or jigs around?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Nectar.
Ps, hows everything going in the west?
