Hiya, been mooching about on Just Kampers and occasionally VZI but seeing as I live here it's about time I joined the local scene.
Brief bio, came here as backpacker in '99, now a resident and living in Perth after 4 years in Sydney and 6 months in Melbourne. Will most likely be returing to Sydney for work soon though, shame I've grown fond of Perth.
Bought my kombi in 2000, was blue until recently and bought the notch last year. Love them both.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Nice website Gibbo, I’d love a pre 70 squareback too, a good mate here is putting together an absolute beauty, Savannah beige I think.
D Moose, I think I’ll be holding on to the notch, my girlfriend will be staying in Perth and I’ll be coming back reasonably often so will keep that car there. I have ‘ideas’ for it too so probably best it’s at more than arms length cause I don’t need to get myself further into trouble. I went on T3 selecta recently and a nice camo olive spray job, loose the chrome trim and she’ll look lovely. Am after some chrome stock 4 stud wheels for it actually.

Hey, while I’m at it, anyone (in Perth) interested in my Audi A4 rims, had them on the kombi before, see the pic. 15 inch, with Dunlop and Bridgestone tyres. I have the set of five. Look really smart on a bus
