Well here's the news folks. The Volkswagen Dyno Day will be held on the Grand Opening of the brand new purpose built CBB Workshop and Showroom. The dyno now sits in the ground with no pesky ramps and exhaust fumes will head straight out the massive door!
The day will be Sunday the 6th of March 2005
(pending the "on-time" completion of the building, keep your eyes here!)
The Dyno will be FREE FREE FREE for Volkswagens only (including exotically powered Volkswagens so you Subie guys are welcome).
There will also be a sausage sizzle and drinks available for the masses.
This is a few weeks before the nationals and a perfect opportunity to roll the car up and get a diagnostic report of the cars performance and tune.
It's even a great day for spectators.
Being on a lazy Sunday and at NO COST there is no excuse for anyone to miss the day!
The new CBB Workshop is nearing completion and is located in Penrith, west of Sydney.

Of course. Even putting stockers on the rollers is of great benefit. You will probably never again get the opportunity to have your car run up for free!
You will know exactly where your tune is and how well your engine is running. You could be saving your self a fortune by finding out you are dangerously lean under power or save yourself a heap in fuel by seeing that you are way too rich.
The day is definitely not JUST for hi-po VWs.

u wouldnt believe it but i JUST put my car on a dyno, like, last week!!
it was kinda sad, my 2.0L new beetle...i only pulled 70kw @ the front treads (i think that makes sense...)
the guy ran it bout 6 times and it got better every time, so i reckon i could get heaps more after a long drive.
Is it obvious that i dont know much bout cars??!!

Absolutely! Listen to Peter. He knows a good day when hears one!
There'll be room Ron. I'm sure everyone that wants a go on the rollers will get it!
I forgot to mention the dyno will be run in Shootout mode.
For those that don't know. Shootout mode automates most of the settings and compensates for temperature etc. Shootout allows you to take your results to another Dyno Dynamics dyno with Shootout mode and get exactly repeatable results.
It really is the only way to conduct power runs.
