Went around to a friend's place last night to have a look at his new bus.
after having the nicest '55 you'll see anywhere, and a sweet 23 window, there's not much left.
Except for.....

G'day,
Having had 6 Barndoors I've gotta say that looks like a good restorer, nice and straight, not a lot of visible rust. Whats it like underneath? Shame about the ribbed back bumper.
Cheers, Ian.

yes, came from Guy.
very solid, apart from below the back window. (a typical Barny issue)
and amazingly straight.
one of those rare few that gets through life unscathed.
The original centre section of the bumper came with the car.
car also came with 6 16" rims.

I don't reckon you could drop it any more than what it is.
there's about 5 cm between the top of the tyre and the wheel well.

i can see it now... shiny metallic blue, 19 inch chrome, hydros, suede interior with subwoofers akimbo in the back, laser string in the floors, someone elses number plates...

It can be lowered, look at Rikki James and his barney 23.
Might have to be tubbed.
And I know Shane wont be doing that
