Hey all,

I picked up some globes for the squareback yesterday, I plan to spend a little while polishing them up before they go on. But I want to do something extra, like paint the lower parts of the rims. Im going to rat the square to a certain extent.
I have three choices on the overall look, this is where you guys come in....
I think I know which I will go for but I just thought I miught throw it out there and see what happens.

Cheers All!

dont like globes, i have some in the shed and if were to use them again i would be going fully polished with white walls, i have seen a kg with the second choice with white walls and they looked really quite nice

hmm, globes are good for the sportier/rat cars, but no good on cals, so good choice i reckon.

i meant to hit the third one... but all three are good. just dont match ur car colour, thats silly keep it generic if ur gonna colour them. black and polished is good.

Hmm, only problem with polishing anymore than there is polished now is that the un-polished parts are very rough and would take an age to do.

Im trying to find a drill / dremel polishing kit to help me out. Anyone know where I can get one?

Cheers

Gibb,
What about painting the spokes satin black and polishing the outer rim as an option?

Yep, that was my plan, like pic two, spokes painted and the exposed alloy polished.

Nice!
