StenGuns wrote:Funny.. Yesterday, I decided to repair the damage to the front guard and remove a tiny rust patch down low on the side panel.. I spent freakin ages, hammering and pulling the guard.. Drilled the screws, levered it out, smoothed it with three coats of putty, sanding back in between, primed two or three times, 1200 grit wet and dry.. looked beautiful.. Just as I finished, my darling wife came out to see why I hadn't installed her new dishwasher.. Distracted me for a sec and I leaned against the repair section, forgeting I had a pocket full of knives, screwdrivers etc.. Anycase, scored and gouged the living f@#k out of my newly completed work..
Now I have a painted guard with a few blemishes.. I ran out of time to fix it again.. You've got to laugh..

What about the name of the rust stuffisss.
ALso, got same thing with guard, but onthe other side.....I swear, the cars are sisters.
I am lucky enough to have all originals rubbers for floor, with no tears in them (wait until the kids get near them though!)
Cheers
