Paul, most swampys are fitted just by winding the window up on them and they get trapped between the frame and window, also the problem over here is they were made for left hand drive cars and would blow your right ear off .

Cheers

most have a strut that holds them up in the window channel, however i made 2 brackets that hang off the door seal channel because it doesn't have the strut mount on the cooler

Mine has two hangers that fit to the top of the door over the door seal lip.
And just to let you know they don`t blow in your ear, they blow the air into the back of the car.
Still makes your car look like a urban assault mobile. LOL

Yep, two types Paul.

One, the two hanger brackets that go onto the top of your door, and thus need not have a strut.

Two, the trapped in the window one, which also uses the strut for support, like mine. Look for pics of Nellie in Members for a pretty close up shot of mine for any help or ideas.

Most are version two, but the later Thermador ones, like late 50's early 60's was version 1.

THE LOWEST WITH THE MOSTEST BLING BLING WINS!!
