Like I said the book says 10 ATDC but if I set it at that It runs like a dog. Stokers sets it at 7.5 BTDC as well, I think it might have had something to do with the smog pump (air injection) that was fitted to the later models.

the kombi later modle air filter set up is so lame......yes i still run it in my car.

although when the time comes to change filters again ill be whacking in a set of independant style ones ontop of the carbies 😉 the ones that you just wash the filter, i think it will work out cheaper in the long run (eventualy)

Too hot and too far for a 48 year old car. Im taking the Kombi, I am heading up the night before and camping at a free camp a couple of Kays away. Thats what I usually do.
