Hey peoples,

I have for sale a Nissan L18 motor with a Kombi adaptor plate to match it up to a VW gearbox. Included in the package comes a 1600 gearbox, a Honda Accord radiator, temp gauge, stainless steel pipes and everything needed for someone to bang this baby into their bus and have some serious sign-pushing fun.
This was a project that I've always wanted to do but unfortunately due to my 3.2 children and a mortgage I havn't found the time to leave the comfort of my desk job and don the blue overalls.
There for I will be sadly waving her off to someone with more time than myself and $470 in their back pocket.
Currently located in Kew, sMellbourne and waiting for a good home. Hell, I'll even chuck in a rear Kombi bench seat in excellent condition so you can sit down and ponder what could be...
Send me a u2u if interested
Over and Out.
C.

Hmm, sounds very interesting. Had you thought about the eng' cert' yet?

I know nothing about Nissan motors (heh, not Datto's!), but I'm going to go and do some research and maybe get back to you on this unless someone beats me to it.

I'm in Melb' too.

Cheers, Aurel

Im very interested. I need to know how much fabrication would be required to actualy get this up and running.
Im good with tools, but dont have any experience with mechanical fabrication.

Im located in Hawthorn, so literally around the corner. Id love to have a chat.

The conversion is very simple, there is no cutting of the bus to fit this type of motor. Make sure it is complete ie: pressure plate, engine crossmember.

My only concern is the adaptor plate is to match the 1600 kombi box. This setup is more suited to an offroad buggy etc, then a road going kombi.

Engineneering again is very simple.....and i see no problems, if the job is done right.

At $470 and is complete would be xcellent buying.
