it's a frame of mind best described as thus:
"you have a bag of Maltesers, they are awesome, similar to reaching Nirvana, you dread getting to thelast one, then it comes, but as you are trying to squeeze it out of the corner of the bag.....it pops out, rolls across the room and your cat licks it then paws it under the refridgerator all covered in fluff..."
That makes 'me' cross.......

Hell my family's maltese, I even have the cross tattooed on me and I didn't know that firefighter stuff. The iron cross used by the germans is different by the way- i have one my great grand father captured in the war.
