This may have been discussed before but does anyone in oz sell official bentley service manuals - specifically for the 61-65 beetle??

Also while I am at it, the mexican seals for bonnets that clip onto the bonnet itself rather than using the standard seal that slides into the lip on the body.....any idea where to get those?

Cheers
Alan

Ring Vintage 02-9789-1777. The older issue may be out of stock but check.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

I bought My mexican seals from Vintage Vee Dub...
Not expensive either.....

they just clip onto the bonnet & engine lid....

The Robert Bentley manuals were the official Volkswagen of America Workshop manuals. I have seen them for sale at the VW nationals at $110 approx....

They are around $40-$50US.... New in the US...
Try Amazon.com... thats where I got most of My VW books from.... postage not too expensive... although the Bentley manual will be HEAVY.... especially with AirMail...
anyway Amazon.com also has used books at very cheap prices... and You can see how much they will cost all on line...
Very Easy Place to buy from.... Mastercard or Paypal too...

Alan,
I did my front bonnet and engine lid for $60 from Clark Rubber. Go and look at their samples and order the 10mm stuff. Took 3 days to come in. Had to trim 5mm from the inside edge of the bonnet though.
