Before the site crashed we were looking for a suitable name that encompassed the whole Kombi movement. The new club will not have any fees, memberships or responsibilities just a laid back attitude, to hopefully boost numbers at events and other clubs We still need a name so I would like to invite members of this site to vote on a poll Cheers Roy [Edited on 27-2-2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)]

wrong way to look at it roy. its more a parody... got look at it with a sense of humour and light heartedness. it would certainly grab the minds of anybody travelling behind a vw than some of those others... 😎

I put Kombisutra on as a joke but maybe a good shirt or sticker.
And Roy,the bit about it will take time is about give this thread a while before a name is found so be patient but you have plenty as you drive a 1958 splitscreen😉.

I thought it was kool.

Kombi Kompassion.
Kombi Kompany.
And for the biker style....Kombi Komrades,Kombi Komandos and Kombi Kompatriots but who yhe hell would want a tuffy badarse yobbo name for a puncie dak dak fire hazzard on wheels.
I personally like the first one so far.....not too harsh,easy on the eye and everyone can understand it and maybe chuck something descriptive underneath it.

Gday guys, i`ve been offline for a couple "not that anyone would notice" of weeks and i come back to this!!! well `im gonna have my say.....why all the fuss? and why worry so much about the name, how about KOMBI "if we have to explain it, you wouldnt understand", special points to bay splity etc.......very inventive in a strange kind of way. Either way i`m glad us sunny coasters will have a group.....now i`ll shut my trap and get the ute on the road.
