I was thinking of doing the outer rim on mine red, just for that hot rod look.goes with the red trim insert and red interior

I think you will have to either go full polished, or fully black, no half measures.
Either way I think it will look great, I personally would go the polished, especially if you will have chrome on the other parts of the bus.
i think they would look kool with the centre red but thats me wes, btw which fatchick were you talking about at the old mans as there are 3 i can think of, the choptop, the kombi and chaos?

That ute is for sale... The pic was taken at the wharf when I picked it up...
