Got a standard message from virginmobiles.co.uk/getmessage n code to type in to get pic......BUT they are wanting my phone number.....I've tried several times.....put the 61 before my number....what other numbers do I need????0011? Have tried all sorts of combo's n nothing is working......:jesus
Who out there has done this???? What numbers do you use?? HELP!!!!!!

..ok hers starts with 44 for the UK...then 7910222825......the 791.....not code for edinburgh......fark :duh....it 131...buggar

ok to for ringing australias from the uk its 001161 then drop the first number from the aussie number eg... 0413 then becomes 413
the other way round is 001144 then drop the first number the same as before..eg.. 01903 becomes 1903
normaly when u get a pic message from any of the uk networks u get the website and the code and thats all u need, i get pics every week near enuf from mates back there and i ahve never needed to put in my number and one of them is useing virgin

ask your youngen to send it again, i am sure she would have it on her phone, see if the out come is the same.. as i say i have not had any problems with pic messages from the uk.. so maybe its a stuff up....

Before I said "try ringing Vodophone" - but after re-reading this thread - should have said "try ringing Virgin"....
OK just rang Virginmobile in the UK.....Lisa was so nice....great customer service.....BUT I do have to call Vodafone....lol
The answer was add +61 and drop the 0 at start of my number
My Bridie living in Edinburgh...got a call at 4am this morn for UK mothers day....lol

I think what you ended up doing was what I was trying to instruct in my first response - but perhaps the way I wrote it was not clear....
