Sorry but I only managed to take a few. Here is 57chooksheds beetle with a 6 inch narrowed beam, no shock towers and modified headlight bowls.
It won best rat.
I forgot to mention all the lowering work was done in a weekend.
I think he might be taking orders??????
Cheers

Well done mate very deserved, obviously the trim won it for you!!
Wheres the pic of the trailer ??
There were some really nice cars there including 3 other splits, that must be a record for the most splits in one place in S.A. (4), there was a NSW red and white panel with the reg number , LOW 67B, just bought by a south aussie.
The trophy was for best type 2 upto 78, weird including splits with bays, but hey I won so I dont care.
The real shame is that some of the nice cars are only ever seen at the 2 shows we have here, the rest of the time they stay in the sheds.
I think it was the trim Roy.
Cheers
Dave
Looks a good turn out mate,
Where did you get the trim from??
Here`s one of mine and Pauls!!!
And another one of mine.
RAT TROPHY TRAP!!
It was great as quite a few people came and told me about the splits that they were doing up.
The more on the road the better.
And I think you will be getting quite a few calls soon Roy, as they all wanted to know where to get the stuff from.
I should talk to you about commission.
Only joking, I am happy to help them and you.
Cheers
Dave
Trying on Dave "The Surfer"`s board!!!
Spot the Trophy!!!
Ahhhh, the glory!!
Found this in the hard rubbish outside someone`s house on the way home from the show!!
2 trophy`s in one day!!!
Staycool!!!!
I must also say it was a really well run show, better attended than the other show in November, It might have been due to the good weather, I am not sure.
It was a great day and well organised, I did notice that there were a lot of spectators which was good and the club had been advertising it in the paper, good info for the other club.
Shame we only have the 2 shows.
Cheers
Dave
I thought you could have posted a pic of the Green T4 Dave....
Sorry Maris.
I went over looking for you a few times, to intro myself but couldnt see anyone.
Also I only took the pics I have posted, forgot I had the camera until I was ready to leave.
Could you let me know what runs your club has organised in the future and would I be able to tag along.
Cheers
Dave
The one I regret not taking a pic of is Heaths early squareback.
It is really nice. And it also won a trophy, (well deserved)
The only VW I would have if I didnt have my bus.
Cheers

Sorry I missed you, as I was looking forward to meeting the "Phantom".
I'll keep you up to date with our events.
Thanks for your very kind words . We had a few hic-cups during the day....but we are very happy with 72 entries!!
We sold out of the Fridge magnet, and gave out all of the magazines. A very successful day (finacially I hope too, I'll have to wait for the Treasure's report).
while we can attract this amount of entries, and not run at a loss, we will continue to run this show.
PS..Look forward to the Bug-In in SA in Easter 2006, in Murray Bridge. Friday night welcome, Saturday morning car show incl. chicken & champane lunch, Monato Zoo tour followed by a River Cruise/Tea. Sunday Motorkhana & Khanacross??, or a winery/Murray Mouth cruise for non Motorsport people. Presentation dinner Sunday night.
Subject to change @ very short notice.
Read my article in the magazine on "claying", you may win car of the show. LOL
Looked at that today.
Might give it a go.
I havent polished mine yet.
Just need the couple of spare days???
Cheers
Dave
