Darren.
Had this problem replacing the rubbers in mine.
I had to prise the frame a little bit at the top.
Put a screwdriver between the edge of the frame and the glass and prised it away.
Not on the side of the glass, on the edge.
When I replaced the rubber I squeezed the frame back into shape.
I had to use clamps to get the glass back in, its a very tight squeeze.
Cheers
DAVE
When I did mine I ran around the rubber with a stanley knife over and over and over and over again, then like Dave says just prise it apart, sometimes easy sometimes hard.
When I put mine back in, I had to use black caulking instead of rubber seal. Apparently you cant get the seals, so I was told by shops here, that was before I started bringing in my own.
But the caulking has worked very well
Roy,
Have you got a cabinet made yet.
I might need the plans.
Cheers
Dave

yep you have to pri the glass n frame apart.
Make sure you have a face shield or safety glass on when using the screw driver as sometimes the glass can shatter... or explode in your face.
You can make a template from plywood to the shape of the frame before removing the glass, as sometimes you have to bend the frame back into shape to get it to take the glass.
I put mine in the bottom of my parts washer-a couple of days later,it all fell apart.Rubber had swollen and was all gooey( is that a word)??
got one out , sure was fun , i also found a good fitting seal at clark rubber that i will be using. i havent got a pic of the quarter window in the frame but here is a pic of the frame . the chrome makes it look a million bucks especially compared to how it was

Darren certainly looks good mate.
Is that the old frame re-chromed?
Caulking is like Silicone but water based so therefore wipes off and sets like rubber
