Splitty model auction - Leukaemia Foundation-sold $475 please read

ClassicVW(pacific) · 2005-03-13T06:50:32+00:00

Following Vern74's post regarding the walk from Gladstone to Brisbane http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=36105 We would like to offer the following for auction on AVD. I know its only a small gesture and a drop in the ocean, but every little helps. So dig deep fellow members and remember every cent will go to this worthy cause This is a special limited edition Type 2 Split Screen Van MODEL, made by Lledo in the UK,featuring the livery of Alan H. Schofield. There are only 1000 made and each one is numbered If this receives a poor response it will be put on E-bay for auction [Edited on 13/3/2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 16/3/2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 22/3/2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)]

Lams, based on your posts here I feel you should win the auction AND based on your giving the money over anyway you are certainly a WINNER and should be applauded for your generosity.
Hope to meet you some day - maybe at Klub Fest on 15 May @ Capalaba:beer I raise my glass to you

thanks for the kind words fossil. doesn't matter that I didn't win the model, winerot probably knows how much this model is really worth and probably wants it very badly compared to me. I have no idea how rare this item is. To me it's just another splitty model!

I hope all of you would consider giving to this organisation, as they are doing some awesome work for those unfortunate ones with leukaemia. Not only do they fund researches, they also go to the patients and try to make their dreams come true. look at the smile on my friend's face when they brought him some presents

I hope one day they will find a cure for this nasty disease!

15 May sounds so far away but I will be there!

Lams, simply because you are the competitor, I'll give you $25 to make it to $500... .......
Sorry winerot 🙁 but can I say that if you were at $475 I'd give it to you as well???
But I can say that I can't give Lams more than that after paying for my type three's repairs this morning.
