Well Moose and I are off on our V dubbin holiday. The venture starts with an overnighter still in Perth (at mums so they can drive us to the airport) we arrive in Sydney and have to slum it for a couple of days at a inner city 5 star hotel (not telling you which one coz we dont want gate crashers just yet) and driving a lancer. Attend a wedding and catch up with family on Saturday. We may venture off to the test and tune thingy curtesy of hotrod matt and coop girl hangover permitting us seeing daylight.

Here is the update of the holiday so far
day one friday 04th March
Mostly travelling Perth to sydney. Arrived checked into the hotel and went off cruising in our hire car. They said they were upgrading us from the small car. We got a bloody magna what an upgrade :puke
Day two Saturday 05th march walked around the city. mardi gras is on and it showed. Did the family wedding thing a great time on the harbour could see the Bridge and the opera house. very nice and it didnt rain.
Day three Sunday 06th March
Despite hanover Moose woke up early for the drive to Penrith and the Dyno day. good turn out and good to meet some of you face to face. Now at the crown plaza in terrigal, sipping beer and burbon watching the sunset from our balcony. Picking up the kombi tomorow :kiss Then we will be travelling in style.

We finally have made it on line again.
We have been heading north and have made it now to Hervey Bay. Along the way we have been to coffs harbour, Byron Bay, Brisbane and Caloundra. It was great to meet up with other forum people along the way and put faces to the posts.
Kombi bombi is still up for sale before we depart from Brisbane on 20th March.

It is our last day in Hervey Bay (yes we are still here) We are heading back to Brisbane for our flight home on Sunday.
Our Bombi the Kombi has decided to stay in Hervey Bay. and yet again we have rented a bloody magna. unfortunately the start and finish of the holiday is downgraed by the magna but the time spent in the Kombi it was worth suffering through.
Again it has been great to meet those of you that we could and we look forward to meeting those of you who brave the nullabor and make it to WA. Still a couple of VW shopping days left in Brisbane before heading home.

It is our last day in Queensland. Heading off home in the morning. We are in Sunny downtown Surfers Paradise and about to brave the water for a swim. We were walking down the main road earlier today when we spotted a very nice square. as it came closer I thought I knew that car from somewhere and it turns out to be Tim.
