i am guessing it would work to some extent, we use to get the twin carb fastbacks and put the flexi pipes into the top of a pancake air cleaner on each side instead of useing them as the heating system. it worked, BUT the carbs have to be rejeted to work and DON'T expect your engine to last a long time. we had a blast doing it,blew up a engine or two playing tho......
