Anyone have any experience in where all the bits go....

there are heaps of bits.... Bought them about 8 years ago...

I think I expected them to be in 2 pieces - one for the front
& one for the back....

the one piece that goes across the front floor is moulded to fit properly...
I bought these from Moulded Carpets....in Sydney..

thanks bugeyedbabe....

it may have been easier if I had just taken the old ones out, but that was in 1996.... I'll have a go today... its just that there are like 19 pieces.... and they are all odd shapes excepting the one above the pedals and the front floor piece...
I also presume some pieces go on before others??
If I can't work them out I'll take pics.....
thanks agan...

Hi 65Busser,
These carpets were bought from Moulded carpets in that the main carpet is moulded to fit over the tunnel in the beetle...
they don't actually have mould on them.....

cheers

i found tunnel and sides go in first...

sides go with sew sides to floor...other side tucks under metal...
floor peices last...that rule is for all of car..work top down...so floor sections last...

so find ur sides first...and work that way...

and i founf laying out on ground was best...find piece, lay it down..get anther...and one side is not exactly as other....

anyway, not sure i've been of help...but there u go..

i'm sure others can help...

cheers
