Thought it was time to paint the notch *now on the road*

Have been talking about painting the notch for a while now.
Had the last week off so seemed like a good time to get started.
Applied the first coat of top coat today. Two more to go but you'll get the idea of where i'm going with it.
First is a before shot.
Might make my avatar make some sense too.

last one for now.

Will be getting the obligatory red wheels in the next couple of weeks and some white wall inserts.
Paint was original and needed to be sanded every few weeks to get rid of surface rust so this will protect it and let me have some fun....evil cousin for my white '69 beetle.

You've had the notch for a while now. I want to see this beast on the road. Looking good though, keep the update pictures coming.

Thanks people...i'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out...just need some more work on the interior.

Sorry Jenz wont go any lower...it's already on the bump stops...it's those bloody 15" tyres with the high profile...if anyone has a couple of 14's i'd be up for it.
