I have just about finished my 1970 street cruiser beetle project. It has been a long 12 months watching all of the other guys with their toys but now I am very close.
I would like to acknowledge the help in time, resources, expertise of Dave Becker who is unfortunate enough to live two blocks away from me! This poor bugger must be having nightmares about me turning up in his backyard with some little problem or job I need to have done. He has given his time and effort cheerfully and without stint. I need parts, I call Dave. I got a problem, I call Dave. I want some ideas, I call Dave. I need a weld done, I call Dave. You know how it goes.
The car is a cracker, 1776 pumper in vermilion fire with drop spindles, disk brakes allround adjustable sway bars, new inside etc etc. It just wouldnt be as good without the help of Dave and his neighbour John Ferrari, both members of the Shoalhaven club.
I would like to know how you thank blokes like that.
Suggestions welcome.
I will post some pictures when I ask Dave how that is done too!
Thanks Dave!

I think this is a very appropriate form of thanks and one that Dave would appreciate.
I can confirm your sentiment as Dave is a top bloke - I've bought stuff from him numerous times and met him a couple of times and could not praise him enough.
Maybe edit your post title to say something like "A big thanks to Dave Becker"...so it gets a bit more attention?
Jay
Three cheers is way short. Thanks for the offer but.
