'ken hell ladies and gentlemen.....I appreciate the recent effort to try and regain some positivity and good will on the forum....but can we all please try and chill out a bit.

I know people will arc up about "censorship" and "freedom of speech" but this incident/disagreement should be dealt with via U2U or email which I know has been a big part of the problem already.

There are three people who are involved and therefore should be resolved amongst those three people without bringing the $hit to the surface for everyone to poke rocks and sticks into.

I hope this can settle down soon as it is not constructive in any way. Once again if you want to abuse someone for your violation of free speech then email me or U2U, but for now once again we as moderators had no choice but to move the splitty on fire thread as well.

seriously, you cant expect to post pic on a volkswagen forum of yourself dousing a split ute in petrol and setting it alight nd expect not to be abused..

I am sure a lot of people are just going to post lots of similar questions about "why?"....so to avoid this topic lingering on for ages and ages, let me just say that it was a vehicle sale deal gone sour.

The rest of the info is for the individuals to work out, not for the wider public. So to those indivuduals involved please avoid putting up more posts about the subject, including posting U2Us....because they will most likely be moved again. I encourage you to attempt to resolve it maturely if possible in private.

You can now see why the buying and selling section has been at risk of being banished in the past - isolated incidents (probably less than 0.1% of total transactions) can potentially make it too much headache for the administrators. Not saying that it is going (don't have that power!).....but please play nicely. :kiss
