on the car front however, the seals and mirrors for the type three turned up (ta muchly GTMac) and I ordered a few things from the states to allow me to work on the oval while I am recovering 🙂
Now I just have to cleanup and repaint the front beam (after I dropped it and scratched all the paint etc 🙁) and rebuild the front bits... then I get to start on the rear half of it all ..............

Things are good.Just making afew bits & pieces to hopefully sell at the jamboree tomorrow.Not much else happening,i'm glad footy season is back upon us as i love going to the footy so thats keepin my weekends occupied if i'm not working.Weathers been great down here & its going to be a perfect fine & 23 tomorrow which will be great.I'll have to take lots of photos.😉

It completed the 1964 BP rally and won it. then it was sent to various VW dealerships for display purposes and then was sold off and dissapeared. I hope a collector got it and its hiding in a shed somewhere.

No oil spurts anymore...that oil breather tube cleaning worked ...sweet...she runs like a dream :kiss

I had a 65 Beetle and the air cleaner had a tube comming into it from the thing you just cleaned. It used to require a clean out about every two months. The tell tale signs were the lovely arc of oil on the insde of the engine lid. Clean it out and no more worries!
