hey thats my car it ran two 13.5 's which i was pretty happy with cause i bulit the gearbox the night before.
hoping to play with the gearing and take some weight out and dyno it before the nationals.
It was a great day good to see veedub's at the drags

berg 40x37.5 heads

9.1 compression
fully blue printed
gearbox is a
4.125 diff
berg mainshaft std 1st short 2nd forgot ratio
1.58 3rd 1.31 4th way to short

very well done sick68VW , what a top effort you made after your father picked up the 3rd gear set from me at about 1.30pm Friday . You must have worked all night to get that sucker back together !! and what a great time 13.5 !! Hey sick68, those ratios are pretty spot-on!....if you put on a 26" tyre. I have seen your car on video & it looks like you are running street tyres & muffler. Are you running the fan belt? Did I see you run 13.30s@100 at last years VW nats.I love your enthusiasm...most of us old blokes have lost that & it is great to see! Keep up the good work!

yes i run the fan belt i run the car exactly the way i drive it on the street i drive the car to the drags then drive it home
