Our beetle wheels were powdercoated gloss black and we added some new chrome wolfsburg badged hubcaps to them.

Trouble is, they look drab still. We are looking a putting some dress up rings on as well but there are 2 choices. The first just goes around the edge of the wheel and the other goes all the way in to the centre part of the wheel and the hubcap clips over it to hold it in place. It is supposed to make it look like a chromed wheel but I am not sure if it will just make it look tacky.

What do you guys think?

dont forget the rim ones are likely to cane the powder coat back to metal the way thay anchor. scratches = rust and mean that you have to run them all the time.
