I'm not suggesting breaking copyright/patents, but Seagull migt have a point about making copies, just maken legit.Indi wrote:As for the price, the kit is built in the U S, a good portion of the cost is the freight and government fees and charges.

Last time I looked GS Limo Kits were about $7000 including barwork dash windscreen etc.Indi wrote:If you have a look at other products on the market the I think that you will find that the prices are about average,
Look at the Sharp built Limo Buggy -- Turn Key is about $ 25000 For a base model
Above par? or Above price? From my calculations it's about twice the price. Fair enough it's got doors, but $8000 for doors? So take into account things like the Sub frame, Bull bars, and bash plates that are standard, all said and done, it's above Par with other Kits.

MikeM wrote:What is a Combat anyway? Isn't it a Wombat? Sure looks the same.
Yes the people that make the Wombat are making the Combat.
With a few Differences, 1 being a right hand configuration,
and other differences are for the Australian design rules.
The Australian ca is called the COMBAT.

MikeM wrote:I don't know how much a turn key is from BBA. It varies depending on what you want.
THEY WILL START AT $25,000 WHEN BBA START MAKEING THEM AGAIN
I know Sharbbuilt used to do a $16K turnkey based on a 1500 beetle floor pan (Swing axle, BJ) with the standard 1500 motor.
YES THEY USED TO BE $16,000. NOW THEY ARE $24,000
On the other side of the coin, what's the Combat Kit consist of and what's it worth is AUD?
Fiberglass: Body, Hood, Windshield Frame, and Dash.
Steel: Body Sub-frame, Front & Rear Bumpers, Brush guard, Tire Rack, Top Support Frame, Windshield Frame Sub-frame & all Mounting Hardware
Electrical: Custom Wiring Harness, Full Lighting and Reflector Package, Wiper Motors & Wipers
Hardware: Hinges, Gaskets, Side Mirrors, Mount Brackets, Nuts & Bolts, etc. Most miscellaneous items are included.
Suzuki does still make the Jimny,
However, no new Jimny's have been bought into Melbourne, with other Suzuki Shipments, for Quite some time. ( I work in Shipping, )
I'm also not trying to be a pain in the ass here
OK, THANKS
, but you have to be realistic about the competition and how many of these you will be able to sell.
WITH NO ADVERISING( aussieveedubber excluded ), I HAVE SOLD ONE AND ALMOST A SECOND.
