Well thats no good, you bloke's will just have to get more serious about it. I played Ice hockey for a couple of years, fantastic game. You get away with the most horrific body checks, slashing and hooking. and if ya do get busted its only ten minutes in the box and your back out to create a bit more havoc. Don't know why I gave it away? I also used to carry a grass stick around on the bike when I went to rallies. Some of my friends also had them and we would have a bit of a hit out in the rally paddock, or roadside rest area's, on the way there.

i saw in the paper theres a game on ice thats a combo of both grass ad ice hockey called "broom ball" i have no idea how its played but it looks fun 🙂

It's kinda late...I had a VW club committee meeting tonight and home late....so what started the sport converastions...Hmmmm....grind iron....it's kinda interesting..it's a little rugbyish except with more padding....I'm not going back a page today...or I'll be up till all hours...

when I played grid iron (for a very short time) I found it more like chess than rugby. Half the time I was told where to go and be ready for the ball carrier and hey presto!! there he was 🙂 Felt very weird after playing Rugby for years and wondering just where the ball was ???:duh

Forgot, not sure is you saw it but a couple of years ago during the rugby league state of origin they bought out the stapler to put some guys ear back on. The Yanks that were with us watching it in the mid east almost choked on their beers!! They couldn't believe that we would either show that on TV or let the guy back into the game. We said it was normal and happened quite often 🙂 and what was their problem with a bit of pain, blood and metal 😀
