72 kombie info needed

just after some engine specs for a 72 kombie. interested in one at the moment. has a 1700 motor. is this a built motor as i think they came standard with 1600 or 1800.
any feed back would be great.

72 they should be 1600
1700 type 4 never came out till 74

My understanding is that the 1700 Type 4 motor was introduced from August '72 for the start of the'73 model with the option of the 1600 TP. The 1800 was introduced for the '74 model in August '73 still with the 1600 option.
