Usually its the rugby Union guys who have the bad ears. A lot of the guys I used to play with in the forward pack have cauliflower ears from being in the second row and lock positions. Its not that usual to have them ripped in a ruck or tackle... but it does happen occasionally.
Mind you, playing grid iron can hurt even with all that padding. You can turn people into human missiles if you try hard enough 😉 (and get airborne in time for the quarterback to turn around and look you in the eyes just before you hit 😀)

Hey guys......I got a casual job but have been working 5 days a week & still doing the market so have been a busy girl with not much time to post.
The splittys back in full swing & will be painted in the next couple of weeks.i'm also ordering the safaris next week so its all very exciting..:bounce:bounce

I'm just working in a factory at a place called Natures Organics.They make shampoo,washing liquid handsoaps,etc......so i work on the lines packing 7 feeding machines etc...Its no brainer work but good money & the days go quick so it will get me through the cold Melbourne winter when the markets aren't booming!

It makes such a difference doesn't it?Pige much be lovin all the pressies too!!The market can be really good money but its never guarenteed.Its nice to go in, do the job & have the money in the bank.Its also nice to have a little social interaction coz apart from when i'm selling the stuff at the market,i'm usually home all week by myself so after 7 years its good to be around people for a while.😉

I just love markets. The PPL are all interesting! I used to run a market stall for a couple of years selling toys and other things I got from the tip. A bit of new paint some mending and a good clean was usually all it took to make a good profit. Then Ebay and tender centre's started popping up all over the place and the tip scavengers started sending all the good stuff there instead. It killed all the PPL like me off! I was very dissapointed, I had a great frienship with some of the regular stall holders, and that basicly dissapered overnight because of the previously stated reasons. Market stall holders are a bit eccentric in some ways and are "outside the square" PPL, you have to be to get up at 2am on a sunday morning. I do miss it.

Just jumped off a 12 hour flight from Frankfurt. Sitting in Quantas lounge using free internet.
Only 7 hours flying to go.
Only saw 3 beetles and 1 kombi in France. Plenty of polo's and golfs.
Haven't got time to read all the posts will catch up tomorrow when I get home.
BTW bought myself a pressie.
A "to scale" diecast replica of a notch. even the right colour.
