This is just my winge at having to rudely interrupt what was a Great weekend (well the saturday is all I got) Friday night at the pub, Sleep in then taking the Buggy in Blacksmiths Beach on Saturday and then saw Sahara at the movies... Few good Dunes in that mind you. So what was shaping up to be an even more tops Sunday was THWARTED bu the relisation I have a shift at 6am.. Grrr

Ahh Im just grumpy cuz I got too little sleep..

But I think to make we should lead a revolution No work befor 11am on Sundays and on days later in the week we should all be able to have a Siesta.. How tops would that be, a little Thursday or friday arvo SNOOOOOZE.. Have I gone to far..

So waddia think, Hi to all those shift workers out there and to anyone who started earlyer than me YOUR MAD...

Enjoy your Sunday Ya All..

i do alternating saturdays/sundays every fortnight.

when i work saturdays, its hell. i finish work on friday night at 11pm, get home around 12:30, and have to be up at 5:30 to leave at 6... be there by 7.

8 hours between shifts... highly illegal, but my bosses dont seem to care and ive been doing it for 4 years 🙁

this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

I work wed, thurs, fri, sat and sun all midnight till 6am. I would rather be working during the day, as now i miss most of the day as i'm in bed. Only one way to buy those goodies for the beetle and thats put up with it. Its worth it. 😉

But sometimes their arrival is literally seconds apart and when a coal ship has to wait it can cost the shipper ( owner of the coal) US$10,000.00 a day
Big bikkies and I am in control of some of it !

Working at 6am ANYDAY should be illegal !!!!

I spent many years of starting at 7am and being awake at the crack of dawn. Thank god for management positions, get to rest my weary head just a little longer .......

Since when has there been a 6 in the morning?
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs

Realy, Where do you do that...?
Do you do the water testing as well..?

nope, no nice things like water testing here... its all to do with diseased skanky human bits, very morbid but extremely interesting.
