Yeah Rob the second worked, but I think I am paying out all my available beer tokens to get the shell and the square working. I think the vase will wait till I at least get the shell and pan reunited, but thanks for the link and the tip on what to look for. I will get one 🙂
As for last night, well I felt guilty about not heading over to my folks on Friday night so I was over there last nght and will be there tonight as well most likely.

Back home at last......22 hours in a plane and 6 hours in stop overs sucks a big one. Trying to hold out to sleep normal hours tonight.
France was a truly remarkable place. When you come from a country thats only 200+ years old and you visit a place where buildings date back 700+ years it is really humbling.
Was in France for the first flight of the A380...don't the frogs love the A380.

The test field in france they took off from looked as if it was barely able to fit the inboard engines over bitumen let alone the outboards!! Impressive aircraft, but will wait a while before I line up to fly in one.

I tell ya waht your one lucky hombre. I am busting to get to Europe, your absolutely right about the history bit, when I look at an old building here 100+ I just love the thought about what may have gone on inside it over the years, If I came up against a 700+ building I think I would spin out! And the culture that goe's with a society that has a documented history dating back many century's. Another thing about Europeans is their passion for things. Their love of real art, and beutiful things. I have always envied the village way of life. The way the whole community have village festivals and social gatherings on a regular basis. Usually a familys house or a town hall is thrown open and they put on a feast (with the help of the other women in the village) for all to enjoy, and for village business to be discussed by the town leaders. I could go on with this waffle but I will just leave you with this Picture.

At the least I can say is that they are progressing Kafer............
The oval is off at a panel beaters now getting a few things repaired that I didn't know about until they took all the paint off (sand blasted). There was a weird warp/dimpleing happening passenger side rear side panel.. not sure what the hell happened there bit its repairable, as well as some small holes to be patched on the dash and some meatl pieces removed that aren't meant to be there. Got a new set of semaphore sections to repair the holes I have currently got, I want my semaphores to work!! Took the 50's bonnet up to get blasted as well as a set of front guards that are actually right for the oval as opposed to teh 60's ones that I currently have. After all this is over I am going to have a stack of kit blasted and in primer for sale, so far its a early 60's bonnet, a set of 60's front guards and a 1300 rear semi W decklid with two rows of vents. Thats not counting the spare front spindles, torsion arms, steering colomn, steering wheel etc etc etc.
As for the type 3, its still at the mechanics, I hope to make contact with him this week (hes lucky and doesn't work every week, only when he wants to - but I trust him with work and am not in a real hurry so its cool with me so far)
