Well i had an exciting morning...
last thursday picked up the kombi which had a new head put in.. a nice $1200 later and she seemed good.. drove to byron/nimbin for the konvoy.. wasnt going great but got there!! (thanks to the boys who pushed started me in the lismore carpark!!)..then...
was driving the kombi to uni this morning, going down the motorway when all of a sudden she just started losing power fast..pulled over had a look under.... ohhhh shit..... petrol was just pouring out of her....ran fast and turned her off...
Well... called Racq and they called the fire brigade,:o, which was very funny!!! One huge fire truck with four firemen 😉 arrived to look at my little puddle of petrol!!!
I'm abit angry that i spent sooo much money and shes already back there but all i can do is laugh!!! and think about the firemen......

Lucky they were there and it didn't go up though... You'de have been screaming if they weren't there and it did.. Trouble with VW's is though, once the transaxle goes up, all they can do is stand back and watch...

we had a firetruck come to the building i was in yesterday because someone burnt some toast.... didn't manage to see any of the firemen tho 🙁 D'OH!!!

hey kara sorry to here you have problems after major work
but i would be asking the obvious what didnt they do right
when the motor was put back in & will they do it right now
free of charge as im guessing fuel line pop off somewhere
after it was disconnected & reconnected, i hope it wasnt their
fault but reality is if it was that could have been a very dangerous
situation if you had a cold or something where you couldnt smell
the fuel, glad your okay & dont be stone walled tell them your not
happy.

Yeah i think he should do it free of charge.. wont be very happy if he doesnt... kinda lucky i didnt get stuck out in nimbin, wouldnt have been very fun!
The strange thing is i was at the petrol station yesterday at the goldy and i filled up quite abit.. but i thought to myself i shouldnt be filling up this much im just gunna lose the petrol anyway :duh and this morning i was about to turn around and come home cause i thought something was going to happen (ive been told im psycic, anybody want their future read hahaha)
