Ive been asked by a few people to continue the VW Cruisers Jamboree into a Winter event undercover/indoors and out of the cold for those long winter months we hang out for the next VW event, November's DOVW.
Thinking of a event with a swap meet, traders area and of course the show and shine, the usual Jamboree format, with it being a no stress, easy day and mostly trying to make it as social as possible while enjoying our cars.
I personally love indoor events as it feels all cosy and the cars all look good under lights, it also brings the show all under one roof so as you don't miss a thing.
What do you think??
Should this go ahead??
Would you support it??
We would try and woo the interstaters down and make it a good weekend with dicounted accomodation??
Make it a toy and litreture show as well??
Rarest of the rare??

Yeah....bring it on.
Indoor show would be great for a toy and literature section also.
Finding an indoor venue will be a challenge.
Footscray fruit and veg market might be a good venue, or how about croydon market for the Monday public holiday
i think this is a great idea!
would love another chance to catch up with everyone..
the VW cruisers events always seem laid back/relaxing well the 2 that i'v been to 🙂

....cool....somewhere undercover would be nice....brrrrrrr
I remember some of us talking about a night show in a carpark ages ago....it would be cool if we could do it??? I guess that involves outlay of money though...buggar
How the leg going Anth?? Hope the pain has eased...:sandrine
sounds good!
Maybe It can start with the Chapel St cruise on the sat night, then Indoor show on the sunday? That would be awesome. Where to do it though would be the hardest part, as Im guessing we would need quite a large place....
N!
Saturday Night Cruise would be a must for this intented weekend.
I have some venues in my pre workings and will chase them up this week to find out costs etc. The show would be on a Sunday and i would like to keep it in a indoor area that is completely secure for pre show set up and to keep us warm.....hmmmhhmmmmm.:thumb.
Keep the comments coming.

Great idea.
In the U.K they have an indoor show called Bug Freeze, it is in winter and as it is the only show happening it is always packed.
I think you are onto a winner.
Cheers
Dave
I think your right 57, The country needs a good indoor event for our sh*tty winter weather. I'll start making contacts today re the airport.

yep id be keen 4 it as well let us know as soon as so i can look in 2 the boat and stuff
How about Footscray market where they used to do the swap meet? Maybe also one of the VW dealers with a large workshop can sponsor the event by providing the space.
I'd love to come and see everyone's rides.
There is enough time before October to get a few more things done to mine so I can show off too.
Count me in!
