hey, going to start doing some rust repairs on my bus and was going to buy a sand blaster, What sort of blasting media (sand etc) should i use and how much is it?

I use plain sand but Im a tight wad.
Seems to work OK.
Never used the proper media so cant comment on that.
Just wear a dust mask as sand dust particles in your lungs can give you silliconitis (like asbestosis)
And how good is your air compressor? CFM?
Mine runs constantly and the pressure still drops, abeit very slowly.
Love how good stuff comes up after blasting and painting, great for the llittle parts..

I heard some good things about the plastic stuff you can use, doesnt warp the panels as much coz it doesnt build up as much heat in it.
Anyone hear the same thing? Or please correct me if that not right 🙂
