heya,

just about to dive back into vw world (after a 10 year absence) and am looking at late 90's golfs. I can't find what the diff is b/w the gL and the CL apart from a 2.0L vs 1.8L engine for the CL... anyone able to enlighten me?

equipment levels probably. interior might be different, bigger motor could go with upsize wheels, bodykit etc. i hope i help but i don't really know.
