Howdy,

I have tried everywhere in OZ to get new Sill Clips for a late Type 3 (thin Sill Strips with plastic clips) and have been told you can't get them anywhere in the world ?? (West Coast doesn't make them anymore).

If anyone can assist with good second hand, please let me know.

I have new plastic clips suitable for early type 3's if anyone needs some

Cheers in hope

I don't know whether second hand ones would be any good. I was looking at removing the trim clips form a car we were wrecking but couldn't figure out a way of removing them without destroying them. The problem is that the remove them you have to push in the central pin. This means the pin ends up inside the sill where you cann't get at it short of cutting open the sill.

If anybody knows where to get the clips, I'd live to know too.

Yeah, mine had the plastic ones that are rooted on removal, but I have been told that some cars used metal clips that can be reused. If I find any I'll keep you in mind Purple dude

Ring Gary at Wolfsburg 9370 3100. You are looking for plastic clips slightly less than an inch in width with a plastic pin push through locking device to fasten it onto the body and are about two inches long.
