What VW Did You Get Rid Of, And Regret?

While unpacking some boxes I found a few pics of my previous VWs, made me wish I had kept some of them. I particularly wish I had kept the 62 splitty that I only owned for a week. Long story, we ended up trading it on a (excuse the swearing) Cortina. In about '87 I paid a whole $800 for this splitty, wonder where it is these days? I traded it in Ipswich, QLD, anyone recognise it? What VWs do you regret getting rid of?

I dont regret selling my first bug but I do miss it and miss the fond memories *sigh* It was a 1970 white beetle. My dad bought it as a suprise for moi but I ended up selling it for $800 because it proved to be too much work at the time!

I sold it to a young girl and her father who had plans to fix it up and paint it sherbet orange. Anyone seen it around in the Brissie area?

I made her then sold her and why did you have to bring up everyones regrets?! I'm sure we will all sob for the rest of the day now. I have gone from being able to put 3 girls in my car to only one in my current buggy 🙁

My Cal KG from the late 80's. Rubbed it back myself, resprayed, rubbers, lowered, 1640 with holley bugspray, twin quiet packs....went like stink.
