How much? well, story time first! I found it in the tradingpost on thursday night (while I was supposed to be working) and didn't ring up untill about 10:30 friday. It wasn't listed in the vans section but was hiding among the normal cars which is why the guy had had only one other call than me who didn't call back. Yay! So after only getting 4 hours sleep saturday night (work party) Dad and I got up at 5 to head to Nambour and check it out.

The guy who owned it was really friendly, honest and interesting. Apart from the bay he was selling he had his Dad's old 64 splitty he is going to restore as soon as he had room from selling the bay. The split was awesome! covered in moss and mould, didn't look like much rust either and all the bits were there. anyway we checked it out and talked and drove it around for about 2 hours and then bought it and drove it to Klub Fest!

In the end I paid $1550 for it and I'm very happy and very broke.:duh:thumb

don't know much about FI but it appears to be as we drove it home. Aparently the guy's been round Australia and across the Nullabor in it about 2 years ago.

Go Boozer. Looks great and we expect to see it a lot more often until you strip the engine out.

Boozer,
I dropped my change on the ground mate, missed the bucket. Sorry 😀

Don't worry, you'll soon forget the baja and be a type 2 junkie 😉

FI can be modified for upright kit, or keep stock fan then the FI needs no mods. (not really good for baja's though)

Alternatively I'll swap you some carbs fit the FI gear :party
