We have a custom caravan for sale, it’s an unfinished project. The caravan is built on a brand new Jayco fully galvanised chassis; it has done under 100kms in its life. It has brand new wheels and tires. There is a full wiring harness for all lights, appliances etc.
Included is a brand new 3 way fridge, never been used. Also a brand new 4 burner gas stove and grill. New kitchen sink and the kitchen joinery is 90% complete as can see from the photos.
There are lots of beetle bits and pieces included as we were intended to use some as the windows.
The caravan opens fully, with two side sections intended for sleeping. The back section of the caravan also folds down into a veranda type arrangement with storage.
The frame in made from 32mm aluminium SHS, mostly mig welded together with a little bit of tig. The sides are clad with Fylon, which is a thick and strong type of fibreglass. The roof skin is standard fibreglass.
Obviously this project is not for the faint hearted, and we are upset to be selling it, but after seeing it out in the open for a year and other commitments piling up, we would rather sell it to someone who could finish it. There is certainly much room left for customisation!
We could part is out as the appliances and chassis are worth a lot just by themselves, but we would rather sell it as a whole to someone who might continue where we left off.
