woohoo, did a defensive driving course today in my bus, was wicked fun! the engine didnt boil over no matter how hard i flogged it, no problems with the driveline or brakes, handled WAY better then i was expecting, really stoked! only had one little bit of a mistake, managing t lock up the rears and do a controlled 110deg spin whilst braking from 50k/h. and to top it all off i am the only guy anyone can remember who has completed the coursee in a kombi!

anyone else tried one in a bus? i would seroiusly recommend the course to anyone, lots of fun and you can learn so much about your car's capabilities.

yeah, damn it was fun, i htink the instructors were surprised that the old bus could handle like that, the next oldest thing out there was a VK commodore :thumb

where'd you do the course? did one with murphys last year in the beetle and it was real good, would recommend it to anyone. did the kombi stop better than any of the newer cars?

did it with metec out in kilsyth. not sure whether it stopped beter then some of the others, so hard to tell with so many different levels of driver experience, certainly stopped well enough though

Maybe a little off but the Type 3 was great fun on the driving course!!! Even managed to do a 180 in it, due to late breaking!!! but it was great anyway
