Do Brm's look ok on a standard height beetle?

I have a 60's flash which needs new wheels and I was thinking of BRM's............... or just restoring originals with whitewalls. Any photo's of standard height cars with these wheels would be great

Cheers

When I put BRM's on my 64 I was kinda happy with how it looked but knew it was lacking that...something. It was alright but not what I wanted. Was always planning on lowering it anyway but as usual it took a while due to time & $$.

The main problem when lowered was lack of guard clearance as it wasnt narrowed. The 165/80's were too tall & next time I think I'll use 145's. When it was right down it looked nuts but was scraping when going straight ahead. This is about an inch or so higher that lowest point but I had to take it up again a little bit. Was spewing each time I raised it.

I think they would look alright with crossplys and big whitewalls.
