I have found that if you pick the whole thing up and throw it through the window at the right velocity, it does not fix it ...........but it makes you feel a whole lot better.:thumb

Gibbo:
If you are running XP you may have to intialise the drive.

Right click on my computer, select 'Manage'

Then go into the disk manager, see if you can see your drive. If you can, right click it and select 'new volume' or something similar, follow the prompts to format your drive.

Sweet.

Go to: Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Computer Management -> Storage option on the side bar -> Disk Management in that tree. Then you pick the drive that needs to be formatted/initilised in the main window and right click choose the option needed and let it do it's work, and it should work. My apologies if you have already done this.

Could be lots of other complex stuff.
