I have Huntbar / Ibis toolbar and am having trouble removing it
I run Spybot, Spywarebalster and Spyguard but it wont get rid of it.
Is there a free ware out there that i can run to get rid of it??

if you are comfortable enough, try sniffing it out in your registry...
first, search and delete any files that its associated with (usually somewhere in your program files directory)
then go to start>run>regedit
then under the find option (i think its under edit?) then type in huntbar...
delete any references that it brings up, and search again until it has finished checking the registry.
then go and do the same for ibis...
it should get rid of it
i have to do stuff like this at least once a month on my friends computers... 🙁 sorry if i dont remember where the find option is exactly, its been about a month since ive used microshaft windoze...

clean it up yourself or if you feel uncomfortable deleting things you're not sure about post your log on here

When you get it clean... And you machine is working fine, get Norton Ghost.
Make an image of the machine and keep it on a separate partition or drive or burn to a DVD. Anything goes wrong just reghost it.
This is the best thing for people who keep getting shitty virus/spyware etc. Much quicker than sorting out the problem.
Just remember to ghost and re-image everytime you add some software.
