I am looking for peoples opinions on changing the current rat rod section on this forum to the resto custom/ratlook/vwrod/oldschool/vwsled lowrider bike section.The rat section sort of only caters for rats and there aint to many in oz.So adding all the above to the section could create more traffic /ideas etc.This could also attract other sponsors to the forum such as Johns rod and moon eyes who are all very interested in whats coming out of our scene.So please let us know what you think.Cheers Damian mcdonald aka Kustomkool
I agree with u mate. Those topics are out there and they need a place to stay, so absolutely go for it (I reckon).
Be great to see some of those sponsors and what services they can offer us avd members. Cause I'm interested. They got any web sites?

I agree its a huge part of the vw scene and it deserves its rightfull place.There is alot alot of awesome rides in australia that deserve agnowledgment.This section can also have picnic goodies/cooler collections oldschool aussie restos interview with Australias best resto custom/oldschools,how to narrow a beam ,what tyres to run to how to airbug a aircooled vw.And this section will be willing to sponsor a miss jamboree at the next jambo.And what the hell we will even have monkeybikes.
Dame, not to be negative about the forum, but alot of the member here are certainly not ready for this kinda culture. Remember the last narrowed beam debate? i can see this forum turning into much the same.
I dont mean a debate just how to and thats it.Im feeling a good vibe lately everyones kinda mellowed out and getting on with talking vws.but i see your point but atleast it would have its place and im sure there are more people who love this stuff than hate it.

The main reason to do this would be to create data base on the whole she bang,so future coolcar lovers can simply find out about the scene.it would be very resourseful.Its up to the moderators and owners though.Not trying to stir things up just wanna share the love.
