What is the price of scrap and will I get a few dollars for say a bumber, a few doors and a few other bits.
Is it worth the drive and finally where? or does it need to be a whole car?

Scrap metal values are high everywhere ATM, however you still need to have a descent amout to make it a worthwhile trip... These days I don't go until I have at least one but usually 2 Complete cars... Whilst scrap values are high, (for scrap) it isn't anything near what it's worth as actual car parts and a complete car at the scrap yard would still fall short in the dollar value compared to a meal out for a family of 4...
A couple of doors might get you a pie at BP Express, but the sauce and drink, you're going to need to take extra money for... 😉
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....
thanks mate that what I was thinking. In the UK scrap values were so low you had to pay them to take your car away. like 500 bucks or something. think eu regulations had been a bit of a kill joy.
not going to be rich with my two doors and a fender then LOL
